Butterfly,
Fluttering,
White, with a few crimson spots on its wings
Landed on her shoulder, fell asleep with no fear
She said, “I’m sure you’ve never seen this kind of butterfly here”
“It nourishes itself on only one type of flower
That only grows in the mountains of Okinawa
To cultivate them here is lots of trouble and expense
But now this little creature thinks of me as a friend”
